Dr. Robert Kwon Joins Regional Plastic Surgery Center!

Regional Plastic Surgery Center proudly welcomes our newest associate, Dr. Robert Kang Kwon, M.D.  He joins the practices of Drs. Bruce Byrne, Denton Watumull, and Joshua Lemmon.  Dr. Kwon was born in Michigan, but has studied across America at multiple institutions.  After high school in New Jersey, he attended Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors.  He returned to New Jersey for Medical School and graduated with honors.

Dr. Kwon’s training continued with a residency locally at the prestigious University of Texas Southwest Medical Center in Dallas.  He then completed a 1-year fellowship in hand and microsurgery in Pittsburgh.

He has numerous publications, national presentations, manuscripts and research experience.  We came to know him through personal experience where he worked with each of us during his residency training.  Early on, we recognized his superior skills and knowledge as well as his wonderful personality and bedside manner.  We actively pursued him to join us to help Regional Plastic Surgery Center expand and provide excellent plastic and hand surgical care to the north and eastern Dallas metroplex areas.

In his spare time, Dr. Kwon enjoys cooking for his wife, Crossfit training, cycling when the weather isn’t so hot, and a huge baseball fan. He has been a great addition to the Regional Plastic Surgery Center & Spa family!
