Regional Plastic Surgery Center Joins Susan G. Komen 5K
The staff of Regional Plastic Surgery Center, a renowned Dallas plastic surgery practice, participated in the Susan G. Komen for the Cure event on Saturday, October 15, 2011. This marked the first year that Regional Plastic Surgery Center participated in the annual 5K walk. The goal of the event, which was held at the North Park Center, is to spread awareness of breast cancer while raising money for research and cures.
The Regional Plastic Surgery Center team boasted 42 enthusiastic members (including some patients), who completed the 5K and did their part in the fight against breast cancer. Each team member sported a specially designed T-shirt and wrist band to demonstrate their solidarity and commitment to the cause.
As further evidence of their dedication to the fight against breast cancer, Regional Plastic Surgery Center will donate the $10 admission fee paid by every attendee to its Fall Beauty Event (held on October 20) to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The center is proud to do its part in the effort to eradicate breast cancer and save women’s lives.
