Dr. Robert Kwon

Dr. Robert Kwon joined the Regional Plastic Surgery Center practice in 2011. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has earned his Certification in the Subspecialty of Surgery of the Hand which is formerly known as the Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery. With advanced fellowship training in hand and microsurgery, Dr. Kwon provides a range of intricate cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery procedures.

Dr. Kwon obtained his undergraduate degree in biology at the prestigious Stanford University. After attending the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey, Dr. Kwon received his medical degree from the New Jersey Medical School.

Dr. Kwon completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He continued his education with a hand and microsurgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Department of Plastic Surgery.

During his clinical training, Dr. Kwon participated in several research projects at Stanford University and Northwestern University. He has authored several published articles and book chapters and has presented at a number of scientific meetings.
